Flytying for Autism
Founded in 2023, by Rob and his son Riley Yellowbelly Flytying is the home of
Flytying for Autism
The aim of flytying for Autism is to provide a sanctuary where being on the autistic spectrum is fine, tuition is given in small groups or on an individual basis. We have quite areas where flytying, art and design in colour or monochrome is all fine.
The materials used are a mix of natural and synthetic which allows for texture and colours to be explored, fly pattens to be creatively re-designed as well as learning new skills and dexterity refinement.
As well as tying we look at the natural world, bugs, insects and water and how it effects our environment.
