Jeff Preddy is the mastermind behind the Fly Hair Co product. Growing up in a hunting and fishing family, and working in his dad’s taxidermy shop, he saw hair of all types.
When he started his journey of learning to tie flies, his ideas were unleashed of what different animal hair types would work in the different designs. As a fly-fishing guide in Broken Bow, he learned first-hand what worked and what really worked! Taking it a step further, his good friend and mentor Kyle taught Jeff how to dye the different hairs and furs to get the vibrant colors that came to exist.
These products are custom made in every sense of the word! From the fleshing of the hides to the washing and tanning process, to the dying of the colors, Jeff has his hand on EVERY STEP!
