Stillwater
Usage Position: Designed for fishing in lakes, ponds and reservoirs, covering all depths from surface to bottom.
Design: Tied to imitate a variety of Stillwater food sources, such as midges, damsel flies, leeches, scuds and baitfish.
Materials: Can be tied with feather, fur, synthetics or combinations depending on whether the pattern is a dry, nymph or streamer
Target Fish: Effective for trout and other species inhabiting still or slow moving water.
Worms
Usage Position: Usually fished below the surface, often near the bottom or slower water.
Design: Made to imitate aquatic worms, earthworms or annelids, with a simple elongated profile
Materials: Commonly tied with soft flexible materials, such as chenille or squirmy elastic to create lifelike movement.
Target Fish: Very effective for trout and other species, especially after rain or in off coloured water
